"Be who God intended you to be and you will set the world on fire." St. Catherine of Sienna
Preaching from the pulpit of our lives...
Dominican Spirituality Lay Dominican life is all about having a passion for the Word of God. The Dominican Laity are fully integrated members of the Order of Preachers, founded by St. Dominic. As individuals and as a community we seek to share God's Word according to our gifts and abilities, and the urging of the Holy Spirit.
Our Rule of Life St. Dominic chose to adopt the Rule of St. Augustine (one of the oldest and most venerable rules, giving it a valued air of venerability and sanctity.) The life of a Dominican must begin and end with this two-fold love: the love of God that drives his whole person, and the love of neighbor that impels him to preach.
